FLYING IN


The Washington DC area has 3 international airports that can be accessed, namely Dulles International (IAD), Reagan International (DCA) and Baltimore Washington International (BWI). The Germantown venue is central to all three airports, therefore you can fly into either.

WHERE TO STAY

The tournament and the after party will be best accessed from the Montgomery County, Maryland area, therefore the most convenient location to stay would be in Germantown / Gaithersburg / Rockville / Bethesda, MD. These cities have a lot of hotels in every price range.

DC can be accessed via a metro ride from the Shady Grove Station in Gaithersburg.


THINGS TO DO IN DC

Washington DC has some of the worlds greatest museums, restaurants, parks, monuments, and attractions; most of which are completely FREE of charge to the public. Most places are easily accessible via metro. “10 best things to do in DC!

Museums
The Smithsonian system is one of the worlds best museums and is completely Free for visitors. The museums are open for longer hours during late spring and early summer. If you are pressed for time we recommend the following museums to be the most attractive ones for the usual visitor. These can be accessed via the Smithsonian Metro Station (yellow line)

Monuments
The Washington Monument as well as the Lincoln memorial are world renowned attractions which are also free for the public to access. The DC area has more than 30 national monuments, most of which can be accessed via a short walk from the Smithsonian Metro Station (yellow line).
